Student Ambassador Program for Academic Integrity
The Student Ambassador Program is an ENAI initiative designed to strengthen the culture of academic integrity within higher education. Recognizing that students often feel more comfortable seeking advice from their peers, the program appoints Student Ambassadors who serve as a trusted first point of contact.
Ambassadors act as mediators between students and institutions, helping to clarify questions, share resources, and promote integrity within their communities. The program brings together students from diverse backgrounds and levels of study, offering them training, mentorship, and opportunities to organize awareness-raising activities.
By creating this international network of engaged students, ENAI supports a sustainable, peer-driven approach to fostering integrity, trust, and responsibility in academic life.
Why Student Ambassadors?
Students often face challenges in understanding and practicing academic integrity. Sometimes they hesitate to ask questions, fearing their concerns might be “silly” or that staff may not understand their perspective.
That’s where Student Ambassadors come in: trusted peers — classmates, friends, and fellow students — who speak the same language, share the same experiences, and provide a safe first point of contact.
We aim to build an international database of Student Ambassadors, representing various countries and regions. This network will allow students who find ENAI but are unsure about approaching the organisation directly to instead connect with trusted peers in their own area. These ambassadors, supported and trained by ENAI, will serve as accessible and reliable contacts who can guide students to the right resources and offer reassurance backed by the organisation.
