At the European Conference on Academic Integrity and Plagiarism 2022 which took place in Porto from 4th to 6th May 2022, the Bridge project had three contributions, namely workshops introducing the first project outputs:

  • Bridging academic integrity and research ethics in a game on fabrication (by Inga Gaižauskaitė, Sandra Krutulienė, Sonata Vyšniauskienė, Volodymyr Sherstjuk, Maryna Zharikova)
  • Checklists for master students, PhD students, and their supervisors on the Transition from academic integrity to research ethics (by Veronika Krásničan, Sonja Bjelobaba, Inga Gaižauskaitė, William Bülow O-Nils)
  • Guidelines for the transition from academic integrity to citizen science ethics (by Eglė Ozolinčiūtė, Sonja Bjelobaba, Julija Umbrasaitė)

The conference took place in a hybrid regime, therefore all workshops were attended both by on-site and by virtual participants. The feedback collected during the workshops will be used for further improvement of the project outputs.

Project Meeting in Brno (October 2021)

The project started already in 2020, but only in October 2021, there was the first face-to-face meeting which took place in Brno. The main aim of the meeting was to work together on the project outputs. Regarding the outputs, you can look forward to the academic integrity checklists for master and PhD students and their supervisors, and gamified cases of academic and research integrity (we have already seen illustrations for the game from the Ukrainian partner and they are astonishing).
