Project & Communications Trainee

We are looking for a motivated and organised student or recent graduate to join our team in a part-time communications and project coordination traineeship. This is a varied, hands-on role sitting at the heart of our day-to-day operations — you will gain real experience working within an international academic network and contributing to active EU-funded projects. The traineeship runs until the end of 2026 (approximately 5–6 months depending on start date), with the possibility of extension and a job offer for outstanding trainees.
What you will do
Coordination of the Academic Integrity Support Portal
- Assist the Portal coordinator in everyday operation; learn about supporting people affected by academic misconduct and whistleblowers
- Communicate with the Portal’s mentors to ensure they respond to cases in a timely manner
- Keep the portal coordinator informed of mentor status and escalate where needed
- Anonymise case descriptions and help develop real-life examples for educational and promotional purposes
- Assist with the promotion and outreach of the portal
EU Project Support — SIMPLIFY & ETHICS
- Assist the Project Manager in project coordination, dissemination activities, and data collection
- Help with promotional activities: social media posts, newsletters, partner updates
- Handle first-contact outreach to universities and institutions
- Assist with contacting and coordinating project partners
- Support general email communication on behalf of the team
General Office Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to help the team function smoothly
- Participate in regular team meetings for updates and task planning
What we look for
- Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (any field welcome)
- Background in communications, social sciences, education, or related areas is an advantage
- Strong written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Interest in academic integrity, research ethics, or higher education
- Open to candidates from anywhere — no Czech residency required
