Module: From Academic Integrity to Research Integrity

Harnessing academic integrity and research integrity

The primary goal of the module is to provide theoretical and practical aspects of academic integrity and research integrity, as well as, raise awareness about the major challenges to maintaining the standards for academic integrity in higher education institutions. In this module, we will learn how to foster academic integrity and research integrity through the use of separate checklists for master and doctoral students. Tackling issues related to academic integrity can be fun too. That is why we encourage you to play our board game, try our scenario games, get engaged with the discussion questions, or simply play online games and test your knowledge on how well you know/understand and apply the concepts of academic integrity. The designed checklists will allow students to reflect on their decisions and opt for choices that will with respect to the fundamental principles of academic integrity.
